One New Ski Line to Replace Two

One New Ski Line to Replace Two

Advancements in technology, innovative thinking, and the goal to create fun snow skis has lead K2 skis to introduce one new ski line to replace two discontinued models. The Shreditor 102 and 112 skis are discontinued. Those who are attached to the two models can still enjoy many years on them. The durability of top manufacturer skis also ensures they will be available used in shops and online for several years into the future. The new line is the K2 Marksman ski. This line includes a unique shape in the asymmetrical sidecut. It is designed for both soft snow and big mountain ski conditions. This versatile ski is available in four lengths.

Placing the K2 Marksman for sale starting with the 2016 winter skiing season adds to an impressive variety of men's skis from this manufacturer that was founded in 1960 off the coast of Seattle. Since developing the first twin-tipped skis used for freeriding, K2 has focused on fun and versatile skis that help skiers get the most from all aspects of the sport. k2 bindings is flexible enough to handle all types of terrain, while the Konic line is ideal for groomed snow and fresh powder. Coomba, Press, Powabunga, and Poacher lines round out the men's skis. Women's lines include Remedy, Missconduct, Talkback, and LUV, and are the largest selling women-specific skis in the world. High-quality skis are also available for girls, boys, and younger kids.

Although top brand skis are more cost-effective than cheaper brands, the initial pricing may be prohibitive for some skiers. Many save money by purchasing top skis used. The pricing is lower and the skis still perform well on the slopes. It may be difficult to find used K2 Marksman skis because they are so new, but that does not mean skiers have to wait a few years to find them used. Large shops offer a wide variety of demo skis at discounted prices. Demo skis have been purchased by the owners from resorts, lodges, and ski slopes that have used them as rental skis for guests. These skis have been well maintained and usually have very few hours on the slopes. k2 bindings may have only been used for a total of twenty hours, while others have been rented out for over one-hundred hours on the slopes. The skis are tagged to indicate how long they have been in use, and knowledgeable staff at shops can answer any questions about demo skis.
